Dont Tell Bob!

(Bubble's Story)

 

 
Hi, my name is Bubble. Don't tell Bob but I have a secret!!
I live on the Moon; well, I live inside the moon!
 In the moon, I have in an apartment with my family.   I have silver hair and boots that bounce.  
 

 

Every morning Bubble wakes up, she takes a shower, she brushes her teeth and brushes her hair into moon buns. Then she eats her breakfast—biscuits and cheese and rainbow juice.

 

Soon Bubble's best friend Lala arrives. Lala is a  Klanger, she and her family make all the food on the moon. Today Lala makes Moonberry  muffins.

 

 Lala wears pink apron and smells of chocolate and cinnamon !

Bubbles mum and dad are scientists. Every morning, they travel to Earth though a special door. Their job? They study the aliens on earth.

 

They say, “Have a good day Bubble!”,  then they step through the special door and go to work. They take sandwiches for lunch because the food on earth isn't very nice.

 

Bubble skips to the moon-lift and steps in, she presses the big glowing button Whiiiiir! Zooooop! Up she and Lala go to the surface of the moon – the outside.

 

This morning Bubble has lots to do. Bob the alien from earth will soon be here.

 She builds rock towers, and she makes patterns in the moondust. She knows Bob loves to play on the surface of the Moon.  Bob loves to find and collect moon things, so she puts presents everywhere for Bob the alien to find.

 

At lunchtime, she goes to eat at one of the moon crater cafés to meet Lala.“Soup or bread or cake?” asked her friend LaLa.

“Soup first then cake!” says Bubble.  They drink soup and eat cake and laugh and giggle about Bob and what he finds on the moon.   

After lunch, Lala and Bubble take the lift down to school.

In school they have a big TV and every day they watch Bob – he’s so funny. He arrives in his rocket, he collects the things Bubble has left, he jumps around, and he stands on his hands! – Funny Bob!!

Bubble is glad she can make Bob happy; it must be hard being an alien!

 

Bubble draws a picture of Bob jumping and takes it home to her parents.

When her parents come home from earth she shouts “Look!” she says – ‘Look Bob found my presents!

Her mum and dad smile. “You're a fantastic moon helper,”

 

At night Bubble brushes her teeth, she brushes her hair, she kisses her mum and dad and goes to sleep. She dreams of Lala and cake and Bob the alien visiting her Moon.
